Icchapurti Ganesh
In the heart of Vadodara, the Icchapurti Ganesh Group stands for cultural and spiritual dedication, particularly during the vibrant festival of Ganesh Chaturthi. Known for their devotion and community spirit, the group is renowned for their annual celebration of the Ichhapurti Ganesh idol, a tradition that has become a cherished event in the local calendar.
In 2008, a group of willing youngsters started the ICCHAPURTI GANESH on a microscopic scale with all their heart.
The highlight of our Ganeshji is that it’s an “Icchapurti Ganesh”. People from every nook and corner of the city have come, prayed, and witnessed miracles happening to them.
Icchapurti Ganesh’s Idol is made by one of the most renowned murtikars, the bestin business- Bharat Kahar (award recipient from our PM Narendra Modi).
Icchapurti Charitable Trust, as the name goes is an NGO full of enthusiastic youngsters who work keenly to make the Ganpati festival one of the most celebrated and applauded festivals each year.
The idol's arrival is marked by vibrant processions, elaborate decorations, and a series of religious rituals that include prayers, hymns, and offerings.
With increasing footfall every year, we have witnessed thousands of devotees taking blessing of Icchapurti Ganesh. Talking about numbers, we had roughly around 940 devotees entering the pandal every 5 minutes, which amounts to lakhs of devotees during the 10-day festival. We are positive and expect even more devotees throughout the festival at Icchapurti Ganesh Pandal.
